Super Shear Files
This file is another pattern that does not load up with pins. Use
on aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, and other soft alloys, and
to do heavy teardown work fast. The curved tooth pattern and
unique double-purpose design has a shearing action that effectively
lowers the cutting angle so the file smooths as it cuts.
Super Shear files were developed in 1953, according to the
toolmaker who told Kent he had made the very first machine
to cut this file pattern. Exclusive to Nicholson.
