Gear Leg Fairings for a Waco Standard Cabin
Above: These are gear leg fairings for a Waco Standard Cabin. Made from .050 3003 aluminum, the original dented one is on the left, and the new copy made from it is on the right. The Little Powerhouse roughed, shrunk and planished the new one to a perfect fit in a few hours. A body and paint man said "no bondo, just sand, prime, sand and paint."
Left: The new one is on the right. The finish is right off the hammer, no sanding or filing.
