Are you tired of hammering your fl anges over or knocking them down flat?
Are you tired of hammering your flanges over or knocking them down flat? Hammering metal over a forming block or hemming an edge over can be both time-consuming and wear out your arm. Why not use a power tool instead? This little system is very handy and doesn’t beat up the metal. You’ll be very surprised to see how smoothly the metal shapes and how fast you can make parts when you’re using the right tool.
Besides saving your rotator cuff, you’ll make more money and gain more satisfaction by getting your parts done a lot faster. The gun and its tools were chosen for both durability and control. (It’s not fun having your power tool take over the job and run off with it). These Flow Forming tools are designed to be easy to hang onto. The 3.75" Short Tool allows you to hold onto the gun barrel, while the 5.75" Long Tool is long enough that it is easy to guide with your hand. Your pick.
The six inserts easily change out of our tools and vary in hardness for different metals (#1 is softest, up to #6, the hard-est). Kent uses the light metal and hard white inserts for steel and the others for aluminum and copper. You can shape the inserts for nearly any task, using a sander or saw. Kent does bead-forming, louvers, doming and dishing, and even makes offsets, hems, and artwork with these tools.

is the layout.
Here is the process, step by step. Timesavings is huge, quality is nice.
Flutes can be included easily, as the tool will allow nice details. You can stretch nicely...or shrink.
"A while back I bought Kent's "flow forming tool". Basically hard plastic that can be set into a air hammer tool. These are neat! I've mentioned before my rotator cuffs are shot, so I have a harder time with a hammer these days. So I love this tool. Ya, I still need to buy/build a shrinker/stretcher tool to get something done." "Kent, I ordered a white insert from you. It works perfectly (the orange one we had in it was too soft). We form window openings in our teardrop custom camper trailers in .040 5052 Al. By doing it by hand with a plastic faced mallet it took two hours, now it takes 1/2 hour! Plus, we were able to leave the plastic film we get on the material to protect the surface while we are hammering, leaving a better finish. I am atttaching a picture to show you a formed window opening. To see what one of these looks like done go check out our website
www.tinycamper.com. Thank you very much." Cary Winch
