Forming Bags
The large and medium bags are constructed from high quality 4 -- 4.5 oz rawhide. The small bags are double wall canvas. They all feature double sewn seams to prevent leakage and filler holes with a reusable rivet in case you want to change filling materials or just to add more. They give the traditional square shape that is easy to hang on to and gives greatest support. All forming bags come empty–you have to add your own fillling.
Large Bag

Uses:
All types of general shaping. If you have a forming stump, it's a wonderful pocket for holding this large
bag. Kent also uses this bag to brace large parts and assemblies while working on them.
Medium Bag

Uses:
Forming, anchoring, parts, and noise absorption.
Small Bag

Uses:
Holding parts. Locating parts while welding. Hand shrinking on cold sheet. (Perfect for shrinking soft
metals in the cold condition.)
Note
: Lead or steel shot may be used. Kent prefers lead, however, because it doesn't rust in humid climates.
