This combo mallet has both ends radiused, one at 1.00" radius, and the other end at 1-1/2" radius, The deep reach gets right into those fat shapes - without ruining either the handles or your edges. Perfect companion for our Deep Reach mallet, as the two mallets together give four common shapes. The heads are 10" long with a 5" reach from face to handle. The Hickory Torpedo has a 20 oz. striking weight and is best used for shaping soft metals such as aluminum or copper, the Black Torpedo has a 24 oz. striking weight which is best used for shaping steel.
