Each day begins at 8:30 a.m. Over breakfast you meet informally with Kent and the other attendees - getting acquainted the first morning, and discussing interesting topics on subsequent days. The morning programs consist of informative presentations by Kent, demonstrations, and hands-on learning activities related to your areas of interest.
We break around 12:30 or 1 p.m. for a sit-down lunch, and time for
relaxed questions and answers. Afternoons are spent on your project,
getting hands-on experience with various metal forming tools, and
individual assistance and instruction with Kent. Each day ends at 5:30 p.m.
All workshops are hands-on, instructor-at-your-elbow. They are not
lecture demonstrations. Be prepared to get dirty.
• Class size limited to 10 persons.
• Basic skill level or sincere interest required.
• All workshops are 4-days. You may attend all days, or any combination of days.
• Breakfast and lunch are included in the daily workshop schedule.
What attendees say about our workshops!
"Again, thank you for a seminar that was not only overwhelmingly
informative, but a lot of fun to boot!" T.E., Boulder CO
"I've seen some great metal men during my years in this business, but
I've never been around anybody who can do all the things Kent can do. He
is so versatile. It's just awesome!" Don Baumunk, owner D & D MetalWorks,
Grass Valley, CA
"The workshop was tremendous. The only thing I can liken it to is a
religious experience!" M.S., Chicago, IL
"Your presentations at Oshkosh this year were the highlight of the
convention for me and many others. I have wondered for many years how the
'old time craftsmen' worked aluminum and steel free hand. You showed us
how!" G.W., Canandaigua, NY
