Kent was the first outside instructor ever brought in to train sheet metal repair technicians at the Delta TechOps Center in Atlanta. Their huge ATL facility is a full-service MRO, and covers nearly 2.7 million square feet (the size of 47 football fields). The state-of-the-art facility was specifically designed to provide a smooth flow of work and materials, and provides light airframe maintenance for both narrow body and wide body aircraft. Airframe work is performed in one area, while engine maintenance work in another, and component maintenance in a third area.

Kent was hired to work with ten of the best instructors and metal men selected from 6,000 of their mechanics.
Delta was losing a ton of money having aircraft parked while awaiting replacement skins for cargo doors.

IT FITS!!!!! Two men took 4 1/2 hours to make their first well-fit skin. After completing training, that time was shortened over a period of months to 1 hour and 45 minutes!
